Principals' Message

Welcome to Neil Cummins Elementary, We hope you enjoy exploring this web site in which you will find additional information about our school.

We are so proud of our learning community. Our students love to learn! All are responsible for the success of our school because everyone works together in the best interest of the children. This spirit can be seen throughout the school – you’ll see lots of smiles! The staff is energetic, hard working, and creative. They work together as a team and are constantly sharing and learning. Parents are actively involved and can be seen in the classrooms, library, science lab, art room, garden areas, and in the office. They stand behind all that we do and their support is invaluable.

In addition to our strong academic program, we provide a variety of enrichment opportunities (including music, art, lab science, library, technology, and motor skills/physical education) made possible in large part by a strong, active parent base, community businesses, and supportive citizens. The staff includes approximately 85 full and part-time certificated employees (including special educators, speech therapists, academic and English language support specialists, a nurse, a counselor, and librarian) and classified staff. A full-time assistant principal is on site.

Neil Cummins puts a smile on our faces every morning as we greet families and students. We hope that you will feel our school spirit every time that you join us on campus.

Sincerely,
Marilyn Clark, Principal
Michelle Walker, Assistant Principal
